PATTAYA: -- Over 100 Police Officers were involved in an early morning operation on Saturday to arrest illegal foreign workers residing in Pattaya.

Crime Suppression Police were assisted by Chonburi Immigration Police and local Police Officers. Three locations where illegal foreign workers were thought to live, were checked.

Officers began in Soi Nong Yai 5 in North Pattaya and targeted a group of 20 rooms but found nobody inside who was found to be an illegal immigrant.

The second location was Soi 1 off the Naklua Road where 40 rooms were checked and once again officers came away empty-handed.

or both

No word of them targeting Walking Street and all the east european hookers.

What about the owners who employ these workers? You should be getting the big man and the little fellows.

Well as we're half way through the month, and now they're up for deportation its just a wild guess that the big cheese gets to keep the money, and / or disburse it in a different way.

Despicable really

It happens quite often when it is controlled by the National Police centre that police from another district are brought in, usually because the National Police don't trust the local police.

Well then I assume there maybe in the near future a raid by Pattaya Police on Nana...gigglem.gif

They should get a bonus because they will work harder, and be more successful next time

I can assure you that most of the Russian girls on Walking Street will not go with you for sex. They are purely there to fleece tourists on the pretence of sex. Sorry to disappoint you!

Duh...100 police officers parading down the soi...probably even the soi dogs and rats scattered...smile.png

From the link in the OP...

"The final location was Soi Hua Tung in North Pattaya where a total of 20 individuals, suspected of working as street vendors and beggars, were arrested after they failed to produce passports or work permits."
