I go to Jomtien this morning, everything goes smoothly. The IM is very nice that she reminds me to renew my visa within one month before the date printed on the slip which is Jan 19 2016 even my visa will be expired on Feb 4, 2016.

BTW, I have heard that a foreigner is rejected for giving visa as she cannot present any proof of residence while I am queueing up for number.

I think she was referring to renewing your extension a month early not your report. You could do them both during the same trip to immigration.
