Police have released her. She was Fined 500 Bhat.

As the article stated it happened in the " red light area " so how on earth could it be obscene ? She wasn't shooting ping pong balls at anyone.

Moroccan tourist detained for walking naked down Sukhumvit road



BANGKOK: -- A 20-year-old Moroccan tourist was arrested and detained by Lumpini police after she was shown in a video clip walking on Bangkok street nakedly amid the eyes of pedestrians and motorist yesterday.

The clip was posted and shared widely on the social media.

Police were alerted of the video clip and began to track the tourist to her place at a guest house on Soi Sukhumvit 4 in Lumpini yesterday.

The clip showed her walking on Sukhumvit road and riding on a motorcycle taxi.

When police arrived at the rented room, she was properly dressed.

She was identified as Miss Nagwa Bassre, 20, a Morrocan.

Police said a search of her rented room did not find anything unusual, or have any drug.

She said she is a Morrocan but police said they couldn’t confirm her nationality as she had no passport and did not speak English.

Police said that upon questioning her, she showed sign of abnormality, such as speaking alone as if she has mental problem.

The police said they would detain her for illegal entry and were coordinating Morrocan embassy to help verify her nationality.
