Gold falls to B50 on renewed Fed rate hike concern

Featured Replies

just sold cars and property and rushing down to the 2 Tesco gold shops in Pattaya (another National press headlines ringing true)

Wouldn't this be better in the Investment Forum?

No with a title like "golds falls to 50 Baht" it should be in the pub.

Isn't this better for the Jokes section?

Either I have a complete blackout, do not see the irony in the post (some special kind of humour) or its the most absurd thing I read in TV today?

Is the poster referring to a mishap in a headline "falling to 50 Baht" instead of "falling 50 Baht"???

mishaps in HEADLINES ?

"Gold falls to 50B". B = Baht?

Do I have a problem with eyesight or the English language.

Your thread is a joke!

It's Baht 19250/ 19350 at the moment, so presumably he is quoting (or in this case, not bothering to quote or provide a link) a misleading headline.

As I assumed.

A superb piece of quality online journalism (not only in Thailand).

They don't even have time to check the headline.

And the gag: the original headline from the newpaper that must not be cited here, does not have the "to" in its headline (at least just now).

These 50/100/150... Baht headlines are a daily occurrence in this paper. Sometimes up, sometimes down.

As relevant as the news about falling leafs in autumn.

Gold falling 50 Baht? Wow. An 0.2% fall.

My future plans have to be revised.

" renewed Fed rate hike concern " that is the most hilarious part of the statementcheesy.gif
