my past experience is that you fill out a stat dec and they sign the stat dec and stamp any supporting dociments. They have not done a supporting letter for me in the past, use to be 500 but probably 700 now.

I has a similar stat dec signed at the embassy last week. cost Baht 580-00

The Australian Embassy Bangkok has blank Stat Dec Forms available for you to complete in their office - which you write out by hand using your own text - which they witiness.

They do not "notarise" any of your other documents for this Thai Immigration purpose.

The content of the Stat Dec is up to you. Mention who is paying you your "income" - and the monthly amount. Put the amount in $AUD and ฿THB. I also mentioned which bank I was getting this amount credited to.

I had the supporting documents with me to prove the amount I was quoting in the Stat Dec.

I was advised by Robin Hamilton Coates (Consul) - that these supporting evidence documents might be needed to back up the amount quoted in the Statutory Declaration to Thai Immigration. Example of Statutory Declaration I used last time: Aust_Embassy_Bangkok_Stat_Dec.pdf
