Finlaco
Does anyone know if its possible to print off the Visa Application on line or only available at the Consulate? I know I can buy the 'free' form from the touts next door to the Consulate. Thanks
Deserted
I printed mine off, you don't need to buy the form off anyone, there are at least two desks outside where they give it to you for nothing.

Also found the hotels around the bus station to be a bit nicer and cleaner thab those around the embassy, though also a bit more expensive. Think I paid all of 500 baht a night but room was great value for the money.

It's not the cheapest but you can apply to become VIP online and then it's 1000 Baht/night. That's including a good room with TV (English speaking channels), free breakfast buffet (I even got a coupon for the dinner buffet when I went there) and free WiFi.
