A case now from Pattaya Police station which confirms that love really is blind in some cases. Khun Brapai aged 30 made a complaint against her boyfriend known as Jack aged 35 who was accused of cheating her out of an 8 Baht weighted Gold necklace worth over 85,000 Baht. The story we received from the victim details how the pair apparently fell in love over a short period of time and on Tuesday Night the pair went out for dinner with five other friends. Jack picked up the tab and at the end of the night Jack suggested that the pair meet up with some friends in Soi Day Night to play cards for money. Jack realized that he did not have enough money on him to play cards and suggested to Khun Brapai that he borrow her gold necklace to use as collateral. She accepted the requested and happily handed it over. The card game did not go well and Jack lost everything. “No problem!”, Jack said and the pair went to see a cousin in Banglamung to get some cash to cover the cost of the necklace. As the pair arrived in Banglamung Jack suggested that Khun Brapai wait for him at the entrance to the road. She refused and started to become suspicious to the extent of her refusing to leave the car. Jack became angry and pushed her out of the car and drove off never to be seen again. He was the Jack of Clubs..... He stole her Heart.... He only wanted to Poker.... That's what studs do....it's called Stud Poker.... She was lucky that he only took her gold and not her Diamonds....
