Uk To Los 3 Way Which Is Best ?

Featured Replies

Hi,

I have a one year non-O visa and am flying UK to LOS mid october. Then I have to return to UK for a week at end of November, then I return to LOS for good ( I hope). I can either:

1. Buy a return LON / BKK, then a one-way LON to BKK, or

2. Buy a one-way LON to BKK, then a return BKK / LON.

Which might be the cheapest way to do this ? Is it easy/cheap to buy electronic tickets in LOS for the BKK/LON return from sites like travelocity/ebookers/westeast or the Thai equivalent, or better to buy from agent ?

Cheers, Colin

BTW, I noticed on the thaiconsul site in the UK, there's a warning that some airlines dont accept a one-way ticket even when the passenger has a non-immigrant visa. Are there any airlines I should avoid for the one-way LON-BKK flight ?

Six to one and half a dozen of the other. Easy to buy tickets electronically or at an agency here. In fact, I'd be inclined to do the one-way first in case you never have to do the November trip... or perhaps just wait until November and save a lot of money. The only airline that ever questioned me from the UK was Swiss, but I didn't have any visa back then and this was before 911.

The airlines should let you travel if you have the correct visa. Without the visa you might have problems.
