I (German, 19 years old) am doing a trip around the world starting in 2 weeks (ocotber 23th) and I will be in Thailand around Mai... Do I have to register for a visa before I leave Germany since I cannot get one yet because there are more than 3 months between me leaving Germany and entering Thailand?!

Hi Mathi and :o:D

Anyway, as a German you are entitled to the 30 day visa waiver so if your intended stay is under 30 days, no problem. If you want to stay longer you should get a tourist visa, obviously you won't be able to do this at home, but you ought to be able to arrange your travels so that you can get one on the way here.

Give us an idea as to your route / dates for pointers as to where to get your visa :D

PLEASE NOTE If you are travelling to Thailand by air, the airline will expect to see confirmed AIR travel out of the country within 30 days or they may not let you board. Land travel does not have this restriction.
