Police hunt thief believed responsible for two Phuket break-ins

PHUKET: -- Police are investigating two break-ins that took place earlier this morning (Nov 16) at a pharmacy and residential property in Moo Baan Ananda Lake View. Police believe one suspect is responsible for both break-ins where the thief got away with B7,000 and two mobile phones.

Thalang police were called to investigate two break-ins at 6am this morning. The first was at the Rinrak Pharmacy in Baan Don in Thepkassatri sub-district which belonged to 48-year-old Ms Phenprapha Phoekasap.

Ms Phenprapha told police that the thief smashed a glass window of her shop, entered the building and B1,500 in cash.

She added that she had closed her shop at 8pm the previous night (Nov15) before going to bed upstairs from the shop. She awoke when she heard the sound of glass shattering.
