Is this 90-day online check-in system still a hoax??

When I have to do my next border bounce, it falls on Christmas. If I were to do my border bounce 3/5 days sooner to avoid overstay and not miss out on family time, do I lose those days or are they tacked onto my next 90 day period (one can only dream)??

Unless you have a visa or extension of stay that allows a stay of longer than 90 days you don't do 90 day reports. The online reporting is certainly not a hoax and is working.

It seems you have a multiple entry visa that only allows a 90 day entry. If you do a new entry early you will loose the days you have remaining on your current entry.

The border crossings will be open every day during the holidays.
