Thailand tightens security after Paris attacks

BANGKOK, 17 November 2015 (NNT)-Thailand has reinforced security across the nation after Paris attacks last Saturday.

Prime Minister Prayut Chan-o-cha has instructed security units to assure safety for the Thai public, saying every nation is now equally at risk. He has also offered condolences to families of those who died in the attacks.

Defense Minister General Prawit Wongsuwan has urged Thai people to report to the police by dialing 199 if they see anything unusual.

Royal Thai Police Deputy Spokesperson Police Major General Songpol Wattanachai said an increase in police patrols in various places is meant to assure public safety against all types of threats even though none has so far been detected.

Immigration police have also been told to be vigilant in their effort to prevent ill-intentioned individuals from entering the country.

Smart. But I would take it one step farther in light of the Paris attacks. No entry to any middle Eastern passports. Zero. None. Entry into a country is a privilege not a right. And tho community is proven very dangerous many many times already

You're right, but I would change the no entry to US passports instead, as they have created what is responsible for all the trouble in the world today and may set up something similar in Thailand.

Looking at your user name, you're not an American by chance?

A bit too harsh there aren't you? why all middle eastern passports? start with the Syrian and Iraqi one,

those are the one that being forged and offered for sale...

"every nation is now equally at risk." NOT.......Paris is one of the great cities in the World......I'm sure France has a higher risk than many, many other nations.

but cities with the failed culture assimilation are definitely MORE at risk...

Telling a mormon that Christianity isn't for you is usually fine......try criticizing the Koran to a muslim....

How sad, afraid, and confused you seem....,

Geez I see something unusual every day down in Arab Town, South Pattaya. They can't help themselves down there in not looking suspicious. I think to myself now what are they plotting, Central, Walking street, water world ? Then again maybe I am one-eyed. TIT

But Saudi, Qatar, UAE and the rest are funding the bastards, or paying protection money.
