Robbery in Koh Samui

KOH SAMUI: Last a night the home of an expatriate was broken into and robbed. The thief or thieves broke in through a back window of the house in Soi Somyamia behind the temple at around 8pm. A laptop and an old phone were stolen. The police were called to the scene and advised the owner of the property to make a police report at Bophut Police station. Residents are advised to be aware a gang could be operating in the area.

To alert residents there could be a gang operating in the area. You want me to repeat it 4 time so you understand Mai.

*sigh* *sigh* *sigh* *sigh*

(I put it all in one answer, but please consider this as 4 answers of same content)

Report it to the police? Why? Will they do anything? Will they assign a "detective" to the case? Just the term Samui Police is about an oxymoronic a term as one will find in the LOS. It is a place long known for the lack of law enforcement.

The term 'Burglary' might have made a more accurate headline...
