Chanthaburi governor declare disaster zone

Chanthaburi: -- The provincial governor declared his province a disaster zone Friday floods hit eight districts following three days of heavy rainfall.

The eight districts were Muang, Tha Mai, Na Yai Arm, Makham, Kaeng Hang Maew, Khao Khitchakood, and Khlung districts.

The highways are open but you wont be able to get into downtown chanthaburi. While the water is starting to recede, it's still severally flooded in most parts of chanthaburi. I would advice you to stay away from Chanthaburi until perhaps monday or tuesday.

Thank You Tompa, I went over from Aran to Chanthaburi Sunday and it was a hel_l of a mess, I was able to get too my house but had too go the long way around and prove by way of house paper where my house was .The police were great and even gave me a escort to the house.
