One of the best and often on sale in 178 baht range - non sticky and clean.

if your concerned about health, the one with the most finer and vitamins is always the black or purple rice.

if your looking for the healthiest rice, then get the black or purple rice highest in finer and vitamins

Even though the labeling can be saying 100% of a particular rice the law allows up to 20% to be of some other variety.

Good idea to buy the 1 kg bags and do some testing yourself.

When we lived in the UK we used to buy DRAGON Jasmin Thai rice.

But we can not find it over here.

Perhaps someone might know where we might get it.

A truly tasty rice.

Probably a repackaged brand for the UK market, best bet is buy the 1kg bags and try which one it is.

Makro sells hom mallee, bags of 15 kgs: as for me, now I buy jasmin brown rice ; quality of brown rice and taste ( good ) of jasmin ( available in shopping mall Hua hin )

Thanks for all the replies Guys, I've since tried a couple of different 1kg bags, though still searching for "The one"

I use the Royal Umbrella First Milling. It is at most Big C's........It comes vacum packed in one kilo packages. You might need to ask where they display it. Its not with the big sacks. Its pretty darn good.

The shop in Central next to Burger King I think it is sells lots of different types of organic rice brown, black purple. Prices are cheapish too.

A lot of conventional grown rice contains high levels of arsenic so it is best to avoid it.

Also you should not use aluminium based cookers to make it.
