topt
Trawl through the Pattaya forum part of this site and when you get bored go and look for other Pattaya specific sites of which there are a number. Depending on your interests you may find the addicts site more appropriate

toenail
Yo Yo "Dancing Dave", if you are independently wealthy or living on an inheritance then go ahead and buy a condo that you will live in for a couple holidays a year..but most of us that have lived here for 10 years or more know it is best to rent then decide where to buy. This real estate market is not like the USA where property appreciates, building codes or ordinances are followed, and you are guaranteed flowing water out of the tap (saying this because of the dried up reservoirs nearby). Flying from Miami to Bangkok is not inexpensive anymore and those 26-30 hour travel duration of getting to the airport, flying in a plane 18 hours straight (plus 6 hours from BKK to Narita, Japan) , making a couple transfers, and then getting home can become a bit troublesome. Surely Miami has dance clubs and "cool-dudes" to hang out with there.

digbeth
Depends on how 'Miami' are you, If you're very 12th street, North Jomtien around Dong Tan beach is where you'll fit right in
balo
First try dancing up walking street around midnight before you make up your mind if Pattaya is the right choice for you.
