BANGKOK: -- Back for the seventh year is the Big Mountain Music Festival, a weekend of live music featuring top local and international artists that is a must-do for most Thai teens.

Going with the concept “Mun Yai Mak,” literally translating to “It’s crazy huge!” the festival has attracted growing crowds of up to 70,000 music fans jamming to beats in Khao Yai.

However for the first time this year it will move to the Kaeng Krachan Country Club and Resort in Petchaburi province, around 200 kilometers from Bangkok - and of course, surrounded by gigantic mountains.

The open-air festival will feature nine stages of live music night and day, in genres including rock, pop, dance and indie, as well as luk thung and mor lam.
