Ticked Off With Tuk Tuks

My experience with tuk tuks is that they are more expensive than metered taxis, but they are more fun. Every time I go to Bangkok I have to have at least one trip in one and shout rail rail at the driver the whole way. :o

The last time I travelled by tuk tuk the relief that I was still alive at the end of the journey was amazing. Does anyone know how many injurys and deaths by tuk tuk there are every year?

Why would you shout 'rail rail'? Do you travel by train often? If you want to go slower say 'Chaa Chaa', and for faster/quicker 'Rehw Rehw' (like Leuw...ish). Looks like you were trying to tell him to keep going faster and it looks like he understood. :o
