bino Posted December 17, 2015 Share Posted December 17, 2015 I was having a discussion with a friend today, and we were discussing the 30 year maximum lease. Of course we all know as according to section 540 of the Thailand Civil and Commercial Code that the maximum term of any lease is 30 years. We also know that many landlords and developers promise a "renewal" of said lease after the 30 year term. Does anyone know when article 540 was drafted in to law? Has it been 30 years yet?
