3 Visas Or 90 Days

I am not clear on this.

Is the limit 3 visas or is it 90 days?

For example, if I make 3 trips in 3 weeks, will I be refused entry on the 4th return?

Or can I make any number of arrivals within 90 days.

If only 3 trips, does the 90-day absence rule start at the departure date of my 3rd

trip, or 90 days after my first arrival, or ...

Also, when I came in on 2 Oct, the officer wrote 'Q' against 'VisaClass' on the stamp,

and highlighted it with a marker. They have never done this before. Any idea what

'Q' means

Assuming you're talking about visa waiver stamps (sometimes incorrectly called Visa on Arrival).

The latest is unlimited entries, but a maximum of 90 days in the country in any 6 month period.

Well that's how I'm reading it at the moment
