Escaped Phuket prisoner surrenders

Escpaped prisoner Nimit Jindamanee, 45, is once again behind the bars of Phuket Provincial Prison.

PHUKET: A prison from Phuket Provincial Prison who escaped whilst being treated ay Vachire Hospital yesterday (Dec 18) surrendered to police when they surrounded a home where he was hiding in Moo Baan Saphan Hin in Wichit.

Thailand comes 93rd place in UN’s survey of world’s most liveable countries

The United Nations this week released the 2015 rankings of most livable countries based on their status of basic human development achievements with Thailand falling to the 93rd from 89th in previous ranking.

Trailer truck catches fire on busy Phuket highway

It took for four fire teams 20 minutes to put out the fire in the truck's cabin.

PHUKET: A trailer truck caught fire on bypass rd in front of Premium Outlet earlier today (Dec 19) and it took four fire engines to put out the blaze. No injuries have been reported and the cost of damage has yet to be determine.
