hermespan
examples: kimchee, wakame, ume Best selection? Lowest prices? Highest quality? Tesco Lotus is NOT the place. I suspect Central Festival will be much better, but last trip I found the quality/value lacking even there, at leadt for those spoiled by Seoul and Tokyo. I suspect there is so d niche market store where natives shop. Nothing comes up on my google and thaivisa searches in English. Just arrived and famished for some artisinal miso (kept in the fridge) for one!
Suradit69
Try one of the several Korean or Japanese restaurants and ask where they source their supplies. I suspect you'd have to go to Bangkok for anything beyond the few things on offer in places like Big C Extra or other supermarkets that cater (to some extent) to foreigners. I could be wrong, but I don't think there are that many Japanese or Korean residents in Pattaya to support a grocery store stocking that many items specifically for them. Next time you visit Bangkok you'd have more to choose from. http://www.ufmfujisuper.com/jp/en/contact_eng.html http://www.maangchi.com/shopping/food-mart http://www.thaivisa.com/forum/topic/242539-any-japanese-grocery-stores-in-bangkok/ Edited December 20, 2015 by Suradit69
