Polish police seize biggest-ever haul of cocaine



WARSAW: -- Several people have been arrested in Poland following the country’s biggest-ever seizure of cocaine.

178 kilos of pure cocaine were found on Saturday in a lorry carrying bananas at a local vegetable market near Warsaw.

The drugs came from Colombia.

178 kilos, out of the estimated 350 tons produced in Colombia each year will not leave the drug cartels hurting too much, if at all.

I doubt the product made it to Poland without a payment being made, so someone is happy and others not so thrilled. You just have to look at what amount gets taken into the police / drug enforcement hands vs what is getting thru, to put it into numbers that the public can relate to.
