Buy New Vehicle - Free Insurance?

When buying a new vehicle (pick up truck in my case) does anyone know if the dealer would be expected to throw in one years free A1 insurance - and what other deals would you reasonably expect for cash?

Most of the dealers I looked at offer monthly special deals.

1 months offer might be free insurance

next month free bed liner and some bolt on goodies

You can only really expect anout 20-25k Bahts worth of stuff as the insurance would be about that price.

Paying cash or buying on credit doesn't make a bit of difference to the car seller.

When I bought, I didn't get a years free insurance but had a lot of extras thrown in (about 20,000 baht worth). I was given a list of items that I could choose from until they totalled 20,000 b.
