I got a Visa Exempt Entry on December 28. I can stay "in the Kingdom" until January 27.

Can I go to an immigration office tomorrow and extend it already, to be able to stay in Thailand until Fébruary 26?

That's because I'm in Sisaket for 2 days and I know the office here is fast and with no problem.

Else I would have to wait around January 27 and do it in Jomtien (many peoples)...

Can I extend it early but still get 30 more days AFTER the CURRENT deadline?

• Offices will not normally extend that early but you can ask. You might get lucky.

The extension of stay will start from when the current stay expires regardless of when you apply.

You will need to give a local address at whichever office you apply at.

You don't need to wait until the 27th. Applying anytime within the last 7 days will be ok.

Sisaket immgration extended it that early in January 04.

No hassle at all.

Done in 5 minutes.

They just copied girlfriend's ID card and address, but we didn't pay any 800 bahts fine.

Officer really friendly and speak a great English.

I got my extension on 01/04/2016 (MM/DD/YYYY).

So they did it early, without any problem.

Again, I totally recommend Sisaket office which is great and efficient!!
