Drunk Australian falls through front door of Pattaya Police Station



PATTAYA: -- In the early hours of Tuesday, a 32-year-old Australian, who was suspected of being drunk, fell through a glass pane on the front door of Pattaya Police Station, and sustained serious cuts to his hands and legs.

The man, known only as “John”, was seen to be leaving the Station when he fell onto the door, which shattered the glass contained within it.

You sure about that? My Thai BIL proudly showed off his newly-acquired car with a replacement windscreen made of 'standard' glass, no laminate at all.

What's the betting that you don't know what type of glass was originally fitted and that you couldn't make a suggestion for a better replacement?

I assume you mean Toughened or tempered glass ?

When was that last available in a car windscreen ? All other vehicle glass yeah but I thought toughened windscreens got phased out many years ago.

My 6 year old boy ran into a glass door in Switzerland of all places. The large shards of glass came down like a guillotine. He recieved severe injuries. Another case like this happened in Bali a few months ago.The guy died from blood loss. All glass doors need to be laminated without exception.
