CDC to organize nationwide event to promote understanding, collect opinions about charter drafting

BANGKOK, 8 January 2015 (NNT) – The Constitution Drafting Commission is planning to hold a nationwide campaign to promote people’s understanding about the charter drafting process and to collect more opinions to hep with the process.

CDC spokesman Norachit Singhaseni said that the charter drafters will be entering the second stage of the team’s work plan which is about a seminar campaign that will take place in all regions of Thailand.

Mr. Norachit said that the new seminar will start in Chiang Mai province during January 29 and 31 before it is moved to Khon Kaen province during February 5 and 7.

After that, the CDC will hold a seminar in Bangkok for people from central and eastern Thailand during February 9 and 11 while the last schedule is set for Surat Thani during February 12 and 14.

Mr. Norachit went on to say that the planned seminars will each consist of seven small discussion groups with designated speakers and representatives from the King Prajadhipok's Institute taking part in discussing the core essence of the draft charter.

Small discussion groups with designated speakers etc.

Will the audience be designed too and those permitted to ask questions ?

Would it be fair to say the correct answers have already been selected???

"nationwide campaign"

for a country of 67 million people

Four seminars

Each with seven "small discussion groups"

Let's do the math

4 regions x 1 seminar/region x 7 small groups x 20 people (?) per group = 560 people

Wow! I am very impressed! That should have a substantial impact!

The people shall understand. Input shall be collected. In accordance with the plan.
