DPM Pridiyathorn will present the drafted budget for 2007 to the Cabinet meeting tomorrow

The Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister, M.R. Pridiyathorn Devakula (์ปรีดิยาธร เทวกุล), will propose the drafted budget for 2007 to the Cabinet meeting for consideration tomorrow.

Finance Minister Pridiyathorn today traveled to the Ministry of Commerce and handed the policies to the commerce officials, while revealing that the drafted budget for the next year is already completed.

He said that the figures will be presented to the weekly Cabinet meeting for consideration tomorrow. He said that he could not disclose the deficit budget at this moment as he would like to hear the comments from the Cabinet members first.

The Deputy Prime Minister admitted that the rotation of positions within the Finance Ministry next week would improve the image of the ministry. However, he insisted that the number of the Director-Generals in the ministry will remain the same.
