boomerangutang
It will be a total eclipse for SE Asia, no other part of the world. I recommend: welder's goggles. Tell your chitlins.

Dario
Total eclipse in Indonesia, only partial in Thailand. Only partial eclipse in Thailand is correct, according to this website. And important: it's going to happen on March 9, not 8. Maximum eclipse in Bangkok is 9 Mar, 08:59, a perfect time. Sun is up then in Thailand. I wonder how people can see the eclipse in Indonisia as it apparently happens 9 Mar, 01:59, in the middle of the night!

boomerangutang
Sorry if it's the wrong date. I read the notice in Nat'l Geo which is based in the USA. For them, it will probably still be the 8th when it happens in SE Asia. That's the date they gave. So what time does it happen in Thailand on the 9th? I know what GMT is, but what is UTC?
