jellybunny Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 Hello megapix, On your bank statements, Do you need to show the minimum of 200k Baht to the them or they didn't even look? For flight tickets, Do you need to show the ticket leaving Thailand? Thank you in advance!
lkv Posted February 18, 2016 Posted February 18, 2016 You're not reading the OP's post correctly, he just told you what she took and what she did not take.
JepSoDii Posted July 15, 2016 Posted July 15, 2016 no proof of funds ? and maybe it would be helpful to learn which countries' passport you hold.... I have heard the METV is the visa that required proof of funds. Anyone know how common it is to be asked for proof of funds on SETV applications?

I have heard the METV is the visa that required proof of funds. Anyone know how common it is to be asked for proof of funds on SETV applications? Proof of 20K Baht is being asked for in Vietnam currently (along with flights in and out), and was asked for somewhat recently in Cambodia (which requires exiting flight) - though not by all agents. It could also be asked for at Immigration when entering. Note that you need cash or travelers checks at immigration, and bank-statements for the consulates who ask. My question to the OP - do you have other Thai Visas and/or exempt stamps in your passport? If so, recent and/or consecutive?

Only 20k THB total is asked (sometimes for a 60-day visa that could be extended up to 90 days? That's small potatoes. Thanks for answering. The exiting tickets are nuisance but can be dealt with. Thanks for answering.
