Two men robs Bt2.8 million from Securicor van

SURAT THANI: -- Two men robbed a Securicor van out of Bt2.8 million while its security officials were delivering the money to an ATM machine of the E-On personal credit firm Monday afternoon, police said.

The robbery took place at 3 pm and was witnessed by many shoppers.

Police said two men attacked the driver and a guard of the van once the van arrived in front of the E-On office.

Police said the two men hit the neck of the driver and the other guard and locked them up with handcuffs before grabbing the money bags and fled on a motorcycle.

Police said the E-On branch had asked Securicor to deliver the cash for its ATM machine at the branch.

Well planned. :D Inside job ?:D

:o

As with robberies from MacDonalds in the States, the majority of armed robberies in Thailand seem to be 'inside jobs'.

If they're caught, I wouldn't bet on these guys seeing life on the outside for a very long time. Has anyone got an update on those Russians who robbed a bank in Pattaya 3 or 4 years ago.
