I hope the elephant is ok and will not be put down. Thai style, of course. :coffee1:

What a sick sense of humour you possess. You need to be sectioned.

Just wondering if you'd be making light of this,if it was your wife just been killed by the elephant and your 2 year old son injured and lost his Mother?

How about medical expenses for the LIVE two year old victim?

I guess that comes under "compensation to the relatives of the dead victim".

This elephant has killed people before.

Time for it to be put down.

If this is a rogue elephant then the person/people who allowed it to be in a position to attack others should be put-down for such stupidity.

if true ... it needs to go where no humans are about.

Or how about the humans just get the heck away from it's habitat. We're the transgressors, not the elephant.

Unfortunately your arguement is a dud. If it were not then you yourself would have to absent yourself from where ever you are as before you and all of us came there were wild animals about. We forced them out, now there is not enough room for them and us.

However, not to worry, there are now too many humans on the planet, let alone wild animals, and population implosion is on the way!

My argument is not 'dud', I too am part of the problem. I am aware of that. When the implosion does come, I just hope it's a painless as possible for those affected. For those who remain, I hope they don't forget the lessons learnt should they be given the chance to rebuild.

I did read the whole story, did you bother reading my post? - absolutely no mention of either wild or domesticated. Rogue applies to either wild or domesticated, either way it should have been relocated well away from people.

You know this elephant personally, do you?

To me most elephants look the same and if it a wild elephant as the story states, how many were in the herd? Was it a male or female elephant, young or old. Was there a baby elephant that the woman was between and its mother?

Do you have a photo of that particular elephant?

I did. In the first link there is nothing much about the elephant.

In the second link officials only believe it was the same elephant but I am sure that there are many wild elephants up in northern Thailand.
