fuel drops below $30,so has anyone seen any reductions on goods in the supermarkets?

when fuel goes up so does everything else,and dont they love to ram it down our throats.

the secret with the butter is to buy the 5kg blocks, break it down into approx 200g portions and share the butter and the costs with a few friends.

Very cheap by comparison.

When Oil price drops other things ie goods don't genrally prop in line with oil it may be low today and tomorrow due to Iran influence at the moment but it will go up in the next week if prices where to move on oil prices it would be a constant re pricing effort which just isn't feasible. As for the price of butter it's bad for you anyway

the thing is its not a small drop,2008 it was $150 a barrel.

as for butter i did try STORK 1960 f-in awfull.

It's 2016 now 2008 was 8 years ago dear me prices have moved up and down since then. The price of milk for instance is a big factor in butter!!! Can't compare 2008 to now

I don't know how it affects food prices, but I shipped a 40ft container from Minnesota to Bangkok in March 2014 and am getting ready to ship another one. The rail and ocean freight cost are exactly the same but the trucking cost went down 6.3%. I actually expected an increase in all costs.

Even worse, it's not actually butter. It's a chemical mixture of imported butter oil and other stuff. Vile.

Always buy Emborg or Anchor. Both of which are genuine butters.

Between the butter and the soap powder I don't know if I can make ends meet..,

the oil price drop has been reflected at pump,but not on motor oil and other by products. the refining profit increase was/is also increased by refining cost per bbl which has also increased at the whim of the owners of same.

The cost of transport ofr fuel by truck from Bangkok north has also been raised and never lowered back to orginal / reasonable charge depending on area delivered to.
