Confusion over an eating place with "holland" in it.

Featured Replies

So i have this thai friend. She keeps on mentioning about eating at this place called "holland" in it. She doesn't speak good english and my thai is piss poor.

So anyway she keeps on saying "holland" this and that. I don't really think there is a place in bkk with holland as the title.

Anyway she mentioned tawandeng to me. As you should know tawandeng is a german brewery not from holland/netherlands.

I was thinking perhaps she mixed up "german" with "holland" because geography isn't a strong factor of thais and all farang might as well come from a country called farangland.

So what do you think guys. Is it a mix up mistaking tawandeng german brewery with holland or some actual place with "holland" in the title.

Also if it is tawandeng why the need to mention holland in it? just call it tawaendeng.

Just follow her there, get drunk have sex and as they say don't think to much.

They Are the masters of not thinking to much at all.

Maybe she mean`t that when you take her to a restaurant she prefers to go Dutch.

Maybe she went to Holland beer at Chaiaprueck road. It's something similar to the german beer nightclubs. It also has private karaokerooms.

The food is good there but since they rebuilt the place it isn't busy. Also the music is too loud.

They also built a huge Shop Ploen with loads of small shops, it opened for some weeks and then closed again. Too bad because it has a great parkinglot.
