East Pattaya Home Owner assaulted and robbed by 'Chat' friend



PATTAYA: -- A 46-year-old man was assaulted and robbed in his East Pattaya home in the early hours of Monday after meeting the suspect on a popular Thai Chat Smartphone App.

Khun Sutat sustained facial injuries and a deep laceration to his head after he invited a man, known only as “Ray”, back to his home at the Namjalern 2 Village, after meeting in Khun Sutat’s restaurant for a second time following extensive chatting on the popular app “BeeTalk”.

Khun Sutat was becoming romantically interested in “Ray”, and decided the time was right to invite him to his home.
