English to Thai online service?

Featured Replies

Can somebody recommend a good online service? Used one before but the results were not good, I don't want it to appear that it's a translation from English, needs to be put into good Thai.

I can do it for you if you like

Industry standard rate of 500 THB per double-spaced page.

Guaranteed eloquence, not just a mechanical translation.

Are you Thai?

Yes I am.

Ok thanks not ready to do it yet though. Are you a fan of Thai music by any chance?

That I'm not.

I only know a few classics.

I like European operas and can sing in a few languages with good diction.

Thaivisa has a tie-in with a translation service: http://www.thaivisa.com/translations/

I see, though, that the web page talks about business translations. I don't know how good they would be at translating a love letter into Thai or a treatise about Thai music, if that's what you're looking for. I have never used them nor seen any of their work and thus cannot vouch for them.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place

For short requests you can try the free service at http://www.freelang.net/translation . It's not automatic translation, it's just people helping out, but unlike public forums it's confidential (by email).
