His chamber music concerts and recitals have been described as ‘rich and dynamic’. He is a frequent performer internationally and the artistic director of the Pro Musica Orchestra. Roland Baldini, Viola, was born in Vienna from a family of musicians, studied at the Academy of Music in Vienna and Salzburg and later with Max Rostal and Franco Gulli. Since 1994 Roland has been Professor for Violin and Chamber Music at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater "Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy" in Leipzig, Germany. Worapon Kanweerayothin, Flute, teaches flute at Silpakorn University and is the long time principal flute for the Bangkok Symphony Orchestra. Individually or together they will perform the following: Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's String Duo No. 1 in G major for violin and viola, K. 423 - the first of two that Mozart wrote to complete Michael Haydn's set of six for the Archbishop Colloredo written in the summer of 1783. It is in three movements. Claude Debussy: "Syrinx" for flute solo written in 1913. It generally takes three minutes or less to perform. It was the first significant piece for solo flute after a Sonata composed by C. P. E. Bach 150 years before, and it is the first such solo composition for the modern Böhm flute, perfected in 1847. Narongrit Dhamabutra: Sarata for Violin Solo: Narongrit is the most respected Thai composer and he specially dedicated this violin solo piece to Tasana Nagavajara for his ‘all-modern’ music recital in 1998. Ludwig van Beethoven: Serenade in D Major for Flute, Violin and Viola Op.25. This unusual yet delightful Serenade was finished by late 1801 and has 6 movements including an andante with variations. Some scholars believe the work dates from 1797 which explains the influences of Haydn and Mozart in the work.
