I would like to buy quality in a rice cooker and microwave and am willing to pay more for it. I live on Phuket, and have bought the cheapest products before---kettle, fridge, etc.---and been disappointed. It's only me, but want to eat more at home, so any advice would be appreciated! Kelly

The Aroma name brand rice cooker is not bad. I brought it for my wife five years ago and works well.

I am using Philips rice cooker. It lasts very long, already 3 years, but still works fine. The rice can stay up to 2 days fine and when wash it, it doesn't sticky after pour water inside it.
