justinmeiland
Hi. Does anyone have any tips about writing Thai letters. As in, what's the Thai version of 'yours sincerely' and is there a Thai version for 'Dear'?
Clearskyinbkk
Hi. Does anyone have any tips about writing Thai letters. As in, what's the Thai version of 'yours sincerely' and is there a Thai version for 'Dear'? Dear= ถึง (Thueng) Used in general letters to friends or close ones ( for example Dear Lilly = ถึง ลิลลี่) Dear=เรียน (Rien) Used in official correspondence to clients, boss, business partners and etc. (for example Dear Ms Jusmine = เรียนคุณจัสมิน) Dear=กราบเรียน (Krab rien) Used in letters addressed to senior people including father, mother, relatives and etc. for example Dear Mom = กราบเรียนคุณแม่ที่เคารพ ( krab rien khun mae tii kao rob) We normally add the word ที่เคารพ for senior people. Yours sincerely = ขอแสดงความนับถือ (Kor Sa Daeng Kwarm Nab Tue)
