No wastewater contamination at Kata Noi, says PMBC
Kritsada Mueanhawong

PHUKET: -- The first test results of seawater off Kata Noi showed no contamination by wastewater at the popular Phuket beach.

Phuket Marine Biological Center (PMBC) officers took water samples yesterday evening following a 43-second drone video going viral on Facebook.

The video showed heavy discoloration of the water lapping against the beach. The title of the video is: 'Kata Noi sea color looks different, likely to be mixed with wasted water'.

It would be a major loss of face if they had to admit it.

So no off course no Thai would do such a terrible thing.....

Does anyone actually believe what the PMBC says? In many tourist centric places results get published for all to see, not here.

I've posted this before, the water quality on Phuket is terrible. last time in the water at Kata, I came out sticky !!! It was disgusting, and I had to rush home for a long shower, gave me the shivers!!!!

It would be a major loss of face if they had to admit it.
