Hi, I'm just about to buy a new phone after having multiple problems with my Sony Xperia Z which I normally use when we're over there. We have a place near Ubon and according to their coverage map we should get 4g out where we are.

I'm looking at a cheaper phone now after being burnt buying expensive phones in the past only for them to break down. The phone I'm looking at is an unlocked Vodafone Smart Ultra 6

I'm guessing it should be OK but best to check and see if anyone knows,

Cheers.

You would be limited to one (1800mhz) of the 3 possible 4g frequencys.. 2100-1800-900. Not a good buy really!

PS: currently 4g is available on 2100 with True and 2100&1800 with DTAC. But roll out of the other frequencys will be this year (they say)

Sweet as, cheers. The Xperia seems to be working OK at the moment so I'll bring it when we come back home to Ubon in March and if it craps out I'll just buy a new one over there.
