Jolly, jolly. That will be a thrilling new year celebration with our Chinese friends. As I am in Holland at the time I cannot join in. Lucky devil me.

Good on the workers for bringing in the available capacity to a higher level , anything that can reduce the pressure on Suvarnabhumi airport has to be a good thing for all peoples arriving or leaving from Bangkok.

I thought Terminal-2, the new Domestic-Terminal, was supposed to have been opened (and only a year late) on 24th December 2015 ? wink.png

Indeed my family flew through it earlier this month ! blink.png

Yet now the article says "Don Mueang Airport is also renovating its facility whereas Terminal 2 is scheduled to be fully open for service on March 8th which marks the airport’s 102nd anniversary."

How many times will it be completed, and reopened, on paper at least ? whistling.gif

I'll make sure to avoid all tourist attractions that week. They'll be packed with buses. Accidentally, "tried" to visit the Grand Palace last year. What an absolute mess. It was horrible.

Shows how cock eyed AOT figures are, they just pick numbers out of the sky. 40,000 over a 13 days period is expected. That is a rate of 1.123 m/year. TAT expecting 5 million this year.

I thought Chinese New Year would be the high season gigglem.gif
