Islamic State setting up terror training camps in Europe, police agency warns
By Tom Whitehead, Security Editor

The terrorist group is planning more mass strikes on the continent and could recruit vulnerable refugees to carry out attacks, Europol report said

LONDON: -- Terror group Isil has set up secret training camps across Europe to prepare fighters to carry out “special forces style” attacks in the UK or other EU countries, Europol has warned.

The international police agency said apart from bases in Syria, the barbaric organisation had “smaller scale training camps in the EU and Balkan countries”.

They would include survival training and sports activities to help jihadists prepare for “combat and interrogation resistance”.

And Islamic State in Iraq and Levant could look to recruit refugees who have fled to Europe to launch terror attacks in the countries that have given them shelter, the agency said.

Europol: Islamic State planning ‘large-scale’ attacks in Europe
BY BNO NEWS

LONDON: -- The Islamic State (ISIS) is believed to have created a training unit for international attacks and is eying “large-scale terrorist attacks” on a global stage, but particularly in Europe, the EU police agency Europol says.

Rob Wainwright, the agency’s director, said at a news conference on Monday that ISIS has a particular interest in Europe, and specifically in France, which was rocked by a series of co-ordinated attacks last year, killing more than 130 people and injuring many more.

Europol, in a report on the changing modus operandi of the Islamic State, said the group is believed to have developed an “external action command” in which militants are trained for special forces-style attacks in the international environment.

But although ISIS appears to have a specific interest in France, where many of its foreign fighters have originated from, the group also continues to plan terrorist attacks against other EU member states, and ISIS cells currently operating in the EU are largely domestic or locally based, Europol said.

Don't stereotype your new immigrants...these are refugee assistance centers...not terrorists training camps.

They're not terror training camps. Merely amusement and recreation centers for all of their brothers and sisters who have moved abroad.

The latest ride (The Stairway to Heaven) is open at the Prophet’s Paradise theme park at Raqqa…and will soon be available to believers in Europe.

Whoever said hysterical and apocalyptic religion couldn't be fun?
