just walk in to any thai massage clinic and chose the best therapist - all of them teach, usually in the mornings/afternoons and give treatments later during the day.

to be sure of the teacher skills (including their language) first have a massage session with them. Generally the older therapist the more experience.

there might be massage schools - however you will be an a large group of students and quality of teaching won't be that good as practicing on a one to one basis. To learn that way the basic thai massage routine you will need around 30h which would allow to give 1 - 1,5h massage treatment

thanks for your good advice. there is a good massage parlour at bophut where the therapists have certificates from wat po school in bangkok which i believe has a good reputation.

it's just a reputation and paper - wat pho trainees are no better than any other schools and courses in Thailand, just finished the most popular school.

I have known many good therapists who have never went to any school and who were illiterate - they learned their skills often from the childhood from their grandparents, aunties or cousins and practised it it for tens of years.
