Sanders transforms into contender, still pitches revolution

This is far from over, contrary to yours, the DNC and the media's wishes. And no, she won't grow on anybody, just continue to loose support as more and more info comes out about her and more and more people see her for what she is, a phony power hungry neocon/neoliberal tool of Wall Street criminals/banksters. She is unfit for president. She cannot go into the convention with enough delegates to win, neither can Bernie unless he wins enough delegates in CA to go over the top, impossible. Even then it would be to close to call. Do the damn math, it's been put out there plenty of times. Pay no attention to the right wing troll, while he won't go away he won't get the satisfaction of any response.

Oh please. The Washington Post has become this bizarre bastard of a "newspaper" that is committed to the current status quo in Washington DC (neocon foreign policy and neoliberal "junk" economics) but also with a thread of the childish libertarianism adhered to by and old friend of mine who now owns that newspaper and who believes the nonsense of Ayn Rand that only one stuck in the naive philosophical world of a college sophomore could take seriously. Bezos and the Washington Post have long had it in for the Sanders campaign.

The Clintons grow on you like the financial parasites that they represent.

Suggesting the Washington Post isn't a credible source is RIDICULOUS.

It's arguably the very best source for news (and opinion) on U.S. politics.

Do better. Deal with the content. Deal with the numbers. An attack on Wapo is a FAIL.

I grew up with WaPo and it is a shell of what it once was

You have to like the hypocrisy irony of the self styled libertarian Bezos and the fact that he was allowed twenty years to post the first profitable quarter for his company.

I did not say that it was not credible as a news source nor do I disagree that the numbers do not look good for Sanders. But we are talking about political opinion articles and I have a right to criticize or disagree with the political opinions of others, even friends. But these mainstream articles are all urging Sanders to stop the campaign and get out of the way of Clinton and I disagree with that position even if the numbers look nearly hopeless. Clinton could still self-destruct before the convention and the Dems still need to keep the Sanders campaign alive and viable in the wings as a Plan B if nothing else.

And one can not separate Bezos from the opinions expressed in the Washington Post. Bezos is a brilliant entrepreneur but philosophically he lacks, in my opinion, good political judgment which, if you are a supporter of Sanders, can be seen quite clearly over the past many months in the slant of the Post, as well as in the majority of the mainstream media, against the Sanders campaign. I can not imagine two more polar opposite political perspectives then a Democratic Socialist (Sanders in a modest way) and a Libertarian like Bezos. Bezos is one of the main reasons that Sanders is unlikely to be the nominee and the two are not separable.

But it is about Bezos, exactly who runs that newspaper now and who do you think sets it's agenda? Don't bet the farm on Bernie not being the nominee, and for sure don't bet the farm on the Clintons being the nominee nor the next president.

You don't like the source is obvious, even though they are a solid investigative media source.

How about these sources, on which the article by the Daily Caller is based.

Great post Chuckd. Reading some of these run-on rants I think some people posting today forgot to take their medicine.

@Pimay... with an avatar like yours I hope you took your medicine today as well. :-)

By the way.. do you support 'open carry' for the Republican convention?

Thanks for your concern. Yes I take my medicine faithfully every day. I do not support 'open carry' for the Republican or Democrat conventions.

I cannot agree more. The fundamental question being raised by Bernie's campaign is: Do you want a more egalitarian society? If you do then vote for me.

I am not sure why many many Americans think it is possible to have extremely wealthy people such as Buffett and Gates and still have a affluent middle class. This is impossible. The main purpose of capitalism is to put ALL of the money in the pockets of the capitalists. The main purpose of Democratic-Socialist (if you want to call Bernie that) is to temper the amount that flows from the people into the capitalist pocket.

The people are broke. the governments are broke and the wealthy / investor class are sitting on trillions of dollars. Do the math. Bezos has way more than his share of the wealth. Bezos bought the WaPo to further his personal agenda not to do you a public service. Like any good capitalist he wants to keep what he has ... and add to it.

Edit: I have always had an unofficial boycott with Amazon. If I can buy a product somewhere else I do even if it costs more. But Amazon's credit they make it easy to buy Barrett Brown and Jeremy Hammond books. It used to be easy to run TOR relay servers on AWS too.

Thanks for the links, the "Daily Caller" is still nothing but a right wingnut lying rag. I'm all for Occupy the Convention, as I was for the original OWS that was busted up by the Obama administration on orders from Wall Street criminals/banksters. Hey, peanut, oops pimay, thanks for reminding me, I need to take my vitamins and my eye drops, have you taken your Prozac yet...lol. Careful with that hogleg, don't shoot yourself in the foot. If you need lesson on proper gun control, I'd be glad to help you, plenty of experience. Hey, you right wingnuts should welcome a real revolution, after all isn't that what you've been acquiring weapons for all these years, yea, to fight homeland security etc. By now you should know, the government doesn't give a damn about the biggest terrorist threat in America, the right wing, it wants to stop the left, as it always has. I think the mellenials are a little more educated on the topic of Socialism than the old folks.

It would be quite transparent to them that Bernie is not advocating Socialism.

Maybe catch up with a Mellenial and get them to run you through it.

Here are a couple of your educated millennials supporting Sanders. On the first link one of my favorites, E.T. Williams comments. It is hilarious. On the second link the educated millennial is asked how we should pay for all the freebies she is demanding. Also hilarious.

The second one with the little girl should really humiliate Sanders supporters. These people will always be students, because they haven't got the brains to graduate. No fear of little Keely ever paying 90 percent in taxes.

The first video is a piece of right wing crap by a nut case ET Williams, who just might be ET. The second is a typical faux (not the) news hit job on an inarticulate young lady that has the right ideas. The million student march was right on in it's 3 demands and yes, it is the 1% that should pay. They haven't paid for years, time to cough up and help the country that made them what they are, no they didn't do it all by themselves. 90% ain't bad, that is what is was under the last real Republican, President Eisenhower. Also one of the most prosperous periods in American history. Nobody, except the middle/working class pays the actual rate, the rich damn sure don't. Let's see Romney paid 12%, multinational corporations not only don't pay, they get welfare from the government. Public education should be tuition free and in many cases it used to be. The problem is the right wing and the 1% don't want the public educated. Why golly gee truly educated people might question "authority" and demand the truth.

I think you will find that the people who are drawing the battle lines of the future make excellent use of GPS and other technologies. Some of the more notable figures include:

Jacob Appelbaum, Bradley Manning, Jeremy Hammond, Barrett Brown, Julian Assange, Laura Poitras, Edward Snowden, Thomas Drake,William Binney, Mark Klein... the list goes on.

You will probably call them criminals. I don't.

Don't know if they are criminals. But a lot of them seem to be on the run from the police in several countries. I can understand why they need GPS.
