I'm not sure when this change occurred, apart from sometime in the last year, so apologies to everyone who already knows about it, but I met three other people who had also spent half an hour in the wrong queue, so I thought I'd better say something:

When you are returning to Room 101 Suan Plu to obtain the result of your application, you do not have to stand in the main queue at the information desk and collect a printed ticket, like you had to for your application. Instead, go straight into Room 101 and collect a pair of identically numbered tickets from the desk ahead of you just inside the door. Clip one ticket to your passport and put your passport in the basket. After a wait, your passport is returned at the same desk, stamped and signed, with no need for you to take it to another desk.

Clear instructions are posted in English and Thai at the desk.

This definitely applies to Investment Visas and Thai spouse visas, and I assume to all other Room 101 visas - can anyone else verify this?

Incidentally, has anyone seen where they keep the cage with the rats in it for strapping to your face?
