I am new here after joining two minutes ago.

I have lived in Thailand for 10 years now and i have always used the 800,000 in my thai bank,but now i want to use the combo method but the problem i think i will have is that my two pensions are paid into my uk bank not here in Thailand.

Will immigration accept uk bank statement plus cash in Thai account with embassy letter.

You get letter from your embassy of pension and you present that to immigration - your Embassy will want to see the pension paperwork - there is no requirement for funds to come into Thailand. Immigration is not likely to even ask for bank statements of the pensions - only for the account in Thailand that you use as the cash amount.

No they won't accept a UK bank statement. Only funds in your Thai bank and the annualised income from the income stated in the Embassy affidavit.

All quite routine, if rather expensive.
