Extension 30 days plus 60 days visiting my Thai son

Recommended Posts

I have full custody of my son who is a dual national (Thai and British) my ex wife resides in the uk and my son who is living with me in Thailand entered Thailand on his Thai passport which has now expired, he was born is uk and therefore isn't on any tabiban which is a problem and I can't get a new passport issued for him and I'm having trouble getting him on a tabiban. I was on a non o which I extended for 60 days but was told next time I would need him on a tabiban so I entered Thailand on a 30 day visa extemp, now my question is can I extend the visa by 30 days and then get another 60 day extension for having a Thai child when I've sorted his tabiban out

  • There is no reason why not. A visa exempt entry can be extended by 30 days and the 60 day extension is available on any stay for visiting children.

When you go to CW you could ask if they'll do it and if they say no apply for the 60 day extension as long as you have your son with you.
