Two commuter trains collide head-on in Germany

GERMANY -- Latest reports from the scene suggest at least eight people have been killed in a head-on collision between two commuter trains in Germany.

Around 150 people have been injured, according to initial reports from the scene.

The collision happened near the town of Bad Aibling, sixty kilometres south-east of the city of Munich.

Emergency services are at the scene.

“This is the biggest accident we have had in years in this region and we have many emergency doctors, ambulances and helicopters on the scene.spokesperson Stefan Sonntag.
