Lazy Teachers?

Featured Replies

Hello everybody, I have another VISA-question for you. My VISA is running out in a few days and instead of getting my Extension for my Non-B, my employer told me, I need to get a new VISA because to get an Extension, I need a Thai-Culture-Course-Certificate (what a word). I highly doubt that this is true but wanted to make sure and ask the experts here on their opinion.

Are you Teaching? The culture course used to be tied to the Teachers License course, part of getting your Thai Teaching License.

Yes, I am teaching. I thought you only need the certificate after 2 years. The first 2 years you are teaching on a temp. license. Did that change?

You should be able to get a "waiver" for up to two years. Unless there has been a recent change.

A teacher not doing a required course?

Most of them are lazy though and never stop moaning about the job and the kids

More like the Thai-Teachers/Director/WHoever is responsible not doing his or her job.

It's your employer best you follow their orders
